ABSTRACT:
This 5 page report discusses arson and the
fact that throughout the United States it has increased in terms
of both the number of incidents and the seriousness of the
events. Regardless of reports related to the various declines
taking place in the incidence of certain types, most often
referred to as “serious” crimes perpetrated in the United States,
arson has continued to increase throughout the nation. The number
of homes, businesses, and other properties (such as university
laboratories, and public buildings) has continued to increase.
Reports from around the country demonstrate the increase.
